My photography style would be described as photo-journalistic. I love to blend in with the guests and capture candid and intimated moments between the bride, groom and guests. As I use documentary approach, posing will kept at a minimum and I will focus more on capturing in-the-moment scenes. This will be discussed at length with the client before hand to make sure their specific needs are met.

The VESA wedding venue is a rustic but sophisticated venue. It is located on an equestrian estate in Valley Settlements near Meyerton – about 20 minutes from Johannesburg. The venue overlooks the main horse arena and covers an area of 720 sqm. The main hall and chapel can accommodate up to 200 guests. An on-site chapel and horse carriage is available, including a horse for photos.

Large well kept gardens and lawns are ideal for photos.

Full catering & décor is available. Self-catering/décor is an option. A cash bar is available on request. Plenty of onsite secure parking.

Midvaal (including Meyerton) is widely considered as one of Gauteng’s best kept secrets. It covers 2 000 square km’s – stretching from Eikenhof in the north, to Vaal Marina in the east. It includes areas such as Henley-on_Klip (a quaint village established on the banks of the Klip River), Walkerville (which still has an Agricultural Society and boasts the oldest farm school established in 1903), Walkerville (with its Iron Age ruins and profusion of rare Lepidochrysops praeterita butterflies); Suikerbos Mountain Range (which offers a variety of hiking trails and fun for the family); and the Vaal dam for boating and fishing enthusiasts.

Midvaal is an area steeped in history, with blockhouses, ghost houses, mountains and rivers, with everything in-between.

Meyerton is the main town in this area and offers a lot for residents:
