Wedding Photography is about capturing the story of your wedding… and the moments in it. After the ceremony is over, the food is eaten, and life returns to normal, you want to recall these moments: see it… feel it… relive it!
Again and again. Vivid. Close to your heart.
That’s why your wedding photographer creates beautiful pictures of you, the ceremony and the celebration…
- in images of the raw, unposed moments in the day… the candid photos… the natural portraits…. and the unique details that make it a great story about a very special day.
- in pictures that are authentic expressions of who you are,
- in a documentary that captures the story of your wedding day, and
- in a way that allows you to enjoy the day,
More about Tiaan Fölscher,
your wedding photographer
Becoming a wedding photographer seldom starts in a moment or with a single decision. It usually starts with a passion… a passion to see the world through an aesthetic eye. Looking for beauty all around you. Beauty in places, people and things. After that comes the hard part of mastering the secrets and intricacies of creating pictures that touch your heart.

More about Our Services and pricing
My photography style would be described as photo-journalistic. I love to blend in with the guests and capture candid and intimated moments between the bride, groom and guests. As I use documentary approach, posing will kept at a minimum and I will focus more on capturing in-the-moment scenes. This will be discussed at length with the client before hand to make sure their specific needs are met.

More information about Heidelberg
The town of Heidelberg is situated at the foot of the Suikerbosrand (of which the highest point is 2,000 meters above sea level) in Gauteng. It is situated 50km south east of Johannesburg and close to the border of Mpumalanga. Heidelberg is located along the N3 highway between Durban and Johannesburg.
Heidelberg began in 1862 as a trading station. The town was laid out around the store and named after the alma mater of the founder (Adolf Uekermann).
In 1885 the Witwatersrand gold reef was discovered in the Heidelberg district and the office of the Mining Commissioner was established there. Heidelberg developed as a typical rural Victorian town. Many buildings date back to the period between 1890 and 1910.
As it is a historical town many of the old buildings have been preserved and can still be seen throughout the town. Monuments to the women and children who died during the Second Boer War can also be seen in the town.
