My photography style would be described as photo-journalistic. I love to blend in with the guests and capture candid and intimated moments between the bride, groom and guests. As I use documentary approach, posing will kept at a minimum and I will focus more on capturing in-the-moment scenes. This will be discussed at length with the client before hand to make sure their specific needs are met.

Heavenly Events Wedding Venue is situated on a Unique Section of the Vaal River near Sasolburg – beautiful and secluded, with stunning views of the River and Natural Bush. The venue can cater for up to 150 guests.

The Venue has both an indoor and Garden Chapel. From the indoor Chapel there is a staircase leading up to the Function Facility so bad weather will not put a damper on your Special Day. A waterfall cascades down the rocks as your backdrop to the Main Table.

The Venue has magnificent back drops for photographs of the River, the Natural Bush and Gardens.

Although the packages have a minimum requirement of 80 guests we are still able to assist with a small and intimate wedding celebration during the week or on selected weekends. A minimum of 30 guests are required for small and intimate weddings.

Clivia Lodge Wedding Venue is situated at Lochvaal on the banks of the Vaal River – close to Sasolburg and Vanderbijlpark. It is the perfect venue for weddings (including wedding accommodation).

Wedding ceremony options include a chapel wedding ceremony that caters for up to 120 guests, or a garden wedding ceremony that allows for 120+ guests. They also offer a honeymoon suite for the newly married couple.

Sasolburg is situated in the northernmost corner of the Free State Province on the southern banks of the Vaal River. It forms part of the Vaal Triangle (Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging and Sasolburg regions).

Sasolburg owes its existence to the petro-chemical industry. Its refinery is one of the only two viable coal-derived oil refineries in the world. Sasolburg was established in the early 1950’s in order to provide housing and facilities for SASOL (South African Coal, Oil & Gas) employees.
